ring oscillator circuits
Xiaoqing Ge, et al., "Nonlinear analysis of ring oscillator circuits." In Proceedings of the 2010 American Control Conference, 2010, 1772. Using nonlinear systems techniques, we analyze the stability properties and synchronization conditions for ring oscillator circuits, which are essential building blocks in digital systems. By making use of its cyclic structure, we investigate local and global stability properties of an n-stage ring oscillator. We present a sufficient condition for global asymptotic stability of the origin and obtain necessity if the ring oscillator consists of identical
