Renmin Han is a Research Scientist at the Structural and Functional Bioinformatics Group (SFB) of Professor Xin Gao at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Renmin obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Research Interests Renmin is interested in the development of computer science. Currently, he is working on imaging processing in electron micrography, especially for the reconstruction of biological ultrastructures. Islam Almasri obtained his Master's degree in Computer Science under the supervision of Professor Xin Gao at Structural and Functional Bioinformatics Group (SFB) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Currently, Islam is a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science program under the supervision of Prof. Nina Fedoroff. at Fedoroff Research Group. Islam is specialized in developing various software tools for solving problems in other scientific domains, including Image Processing, Medical Imaging, Chemical Networks, and Protein Structure.
